Second Annual Kidney Bean Recipe Competition

In partnership with the American Pulse Association and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute, Chippewa Valley Bean hosted the second annual Kidney Bean Recipe Competition on October 24th at Le Cordon Bleu Institute in MN. It was a huge success and we saw some wonderful new dishes. Submissions included a Red Bean and Rice Pizza, a delicious Bean Burger, and a French inspired cassoulet. The winner was a masterfully constructed take on beans and rice that was both delicious and beautiful. The winner of the contest received a small scholarship award and will be featured prominently on pulse based websites.
