Dark Red Kidney Bean Rangoon


18 wonton skins
1/2 cup dark red kidney beans, drained
4 oz. cream cheese
3 tbsp orange juice concentrate
2 tbsp ginger root, fresh, grated
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp sesame seed oil
1 pinch salt
1 tsp tamari
1 tbsp arrow root or cornstarch
1 tbsp orange zest, grated


Puree together all ingredients except wonton skins until smooth. Lay one wonton skin on flat surface, brush 2 edges with water. Place 2t filling in center of skin. Fold dry edges over onto wet edges and press firmly to seal. Deep fry in 350 degree oil until golden on both sides. Drain on paper towel. Serve with favorite dipping sauce.
